The tree home Lodge Serra Llevante is located in the quaint and scenic Son Macia valley. Set in a pine forest, the tree house offers stunning views of the surrounding hills, the centre of the island and the Tramontana mountains. The small village of Son Macia is in about 3 kilometres distance and has a small supermarket for the daily needs, some cosy restaurants and coffee shops on the main square. More shopping facilities can be found in Manacor, the third largest town on Mallorca. It is within 15 minutes drive and offers a pedestrian zone, shopping centres, supermarkets, boutiques and a large market on Mondays. The beaches of the east coast are about 20 minutes drive away. The house is an ideal base to explore the island or to set out on a walk, a round of golf or a bicycle tour.

Facilities

The tree house Lodge Serra Llevante is built on stilts and offers a cosy living area with a double bed, satellite television and a quick and stable Wifi internet connection. The seperate bathroom en-suite is furnished and decorated with a lot of peculiar details and is complemented by an outdoor shower with running cold and warm water.

On the same level as the living/bedroom there is a breakfast and dining terrace with marvellous views of the countryside and the fully furnished outdoor kitchen. This area can be protected by wind and rain partitions during the cooler months. It can also be heated, when necessary.

The living area is fitted with an extra silent 3-level ceiling fan and the windows have mosquito nets. The climate is very pleasant, thanks to the higher humidity created by the forest. Therefore, the tree house is comfortably cool during summer . A steady breeze due to the raised position further adds to the feeling of coolness.

The owners of this unique property have paid a lot of attention to detail in the decoration and furniture of the tree house. This includes the hand-crafted wooden objects, which add to the cosiness of the place.

For the cooler months from mid of october to mid of april, the house is fitted with two large infrared heaters and a fireplace. The use of the heaters is optional and will be charged with 5,00 €/day, payable on site.

The distinct interiors combined with the totally quiet location and the fantastic views turn the lodge into an idyllic and romantic holiday home.
A totally unique experience for the curious traveller.

Exterior

The lodge Serra Llevante offers 3 different terraces, with enough space to soak in the unique surroundings. All terraces are furnished and there are sun loungers and even a hammock to relax and unwind. There is another terrace in the woulds, shaded by the trees and with fitted with another set of sun loungers.

The pool which is part of the resort is just a short, 3 minute stroll away, passing through the park-style property, with its Mediterranean gardens.

All prices exclude the "Ecotasa" (eco tax), which will apply from 1 July 2016. This is 2,20 € (2,00 € + 10% VAT) per person from 16 years per night.
