Location

Villa Es Caló is just off the beautiful Es Caló des Moro and Cala S'Almunia bay and at only about 6 kilometers distance from the village Santanyí. The quaint holiday resort Cala Llombards is about 1 kilometer away, its beach at about 2,5 kilometers distance. Cala Llombards offers a small supermarket, a bar and a restaurant and the beach is home to a beautiful Chiringuito.

Es Llombards is a small country village in the South of the island which has kept much of its original rural charm and character. The village square is framed by cafés, restaurants and a bakery, two more restaurant serving traditional Mallorcan cuisine are nearby and there is also a small beer garden with international food and BBQ. Shopping facilities, like supermarkets, pharmacies and boutiques are available in the neighbouring villages Ses Salines and Santanyi, just as a fine selection of restaurants and traditional bars.

Santanyi is a country village popular for its lovely old town, the colourful market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the elegant restaurants and trendy boutiques. Another highlight of this region is the Es Trenc beach with its Carribean feel. This beach is in approximately 10 minutes driving distance. For a casual sun downer or dinner with views of the sea and the idyllic fishing harbours, Cala Figuera or Colonia Sant Jordi are a good choice.

The house is at the residents-only access road to Cala S'Almunia. Guest will find the permit to trespass in the house, allowing them to enter the area by car.

Facilities

Villa Es Caló is a real stunner not only for its unique location but also for the tasteful, upmarket interiors. All rooms are sunny, light and furnished in a maritime style and are on one floor. The open-plan living area includes a living/dining room and a modern, fully fitted kitchen. Large windows are overlooking the sea and offer spectacular views. The master bedroom has a bathroom en-suite with a bathtub and a separate shower and a walk-in closet. There are two more twin bedrooms, one with a bathroom en-suite, the other one with a separate bathroom. Both are fitted with with showers. All bedrooms have direct access to the terraces and the pool area.

Villa Es Caló offers a beautiful pool area and terraces around the house, most with spectacular sea views. The guest can choose to sit underneath one of the pergolas - one with a chill-out, the other one with a dining table or on the sun terrace, which has the best views and is fitted with a dining table and comfortable teak chairs. There is also a nice BBQ area and parking space on the plot.

Minimum stay is one week. Additional days can be added.
Final cleaning and towel change once per week are incl. in price.
For a stay of 2 weeks there is also a linen change and light cleaning included in the price.
The use of the air-conditioning is optional and can be booked at an extra cost of 25 €/day, minimum 5 nights, payable in cash on arrival.
On arrival a credit card, which needs to be indicated beforehand, will be charged with a deposit of 300 €. After departure, and once the house has been checked and approved by house keeping, the deposit will be refunded accordingly.

All prices exclude the "Ecotasa" (eco tax), which will apply from 1 July 2016. This is 2,20 € (2,00 € + 10% VAT) per person from 16 years per night.

  • Children are welcome, a cot and a high chair are available free on request. For any additional infant a cot is obligatory and will be charged with 7,00 € per night.
