Location

The finca is situated in the centre of the island, just a few minutes’ drive from the tranquil little village of Vilafranca. Here, you can enjoy authentic Mallorca, relax far away from the tourist crowds and unwind from everyday life amidst the beautiful countryside. In the village centre, there are a few shops, bars and restaurants. Manacor, Mallorca’s second-largest town, is about a 15-minute drive away. Here, a spacious pedestrianised area with numerous shops invites you to take a stroll. The beaches on the south-east coast can be reached in about 25 minutes. The finca is an ideal base for active holidaymakers: the surrounding area is perfect for exploring by bike. Thanks to the good transport links, you can quickly reach the Tramuntana mountains for hiking, or get to Palma in 30 minutes for shopping and sightseeing, or head to one of the numerous golf courses in the island’s capital.

Facilities

This spacious finca estate comprises three holiday homes: a finca with a total area of 200 m², the Casa (studio) measuring 70 m², and a casita measuring 25 m². All three buildings are surrounded by large terraces, allowing you to enjoy the sun or the shade at any time of day.

The finca (main house), which was extensively renovated in 2016, is fitted out to a high standard and comprises a total of 200 square metres across the ground floor and first floor. The combination of modern furniture, a light-coloured polished concrete floor and the gleaming white kitchen unit at the centre makes the ground floor bright and inviting. The open-plan fireplace, which opens onto two sides, with an adjoining fireplace room, and the separate TV room offer cosy places to retreat to. The ground floor also houses the first sleeping area, comprising a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms are fitted with box-spring beds, whilst the bathrooms are bright and welcoming with spacious showers. A spacious terrace offers enough room to dine with up to 12 people, and there is also a covered seating area right next to it. The holiday home is fitted with underfloor heating on both the ground and first floors, making the finca suitable for use all year round.

Set slightly apart from the main house is the Casa, built in 2014. The building, which measures around 70 m², is now used as a studio. Light-coloured stone flooring, plenty of natural light, a fireplace and a built-in white Nolte kitchen characterise the space.
Terraces run all the way round the Casa and offer different views of the garden and countryside depending on the time of day – particularly beautiful in the evening sun.

The Casita, measuring around 25 m², was converted from a former cattle shed in 2015. Today it is used as an additional lounge area. It also features a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. In front of the building is a small terrace with a seating area; next to it, a swing hangs from a tree. Its sheltered location and original character make this part of Colmina particularly special.

All bedrooms have air conditioning.

All buildings are separate from one another, ensuring plenty of privacy. The Finca and the Casa are approximately 30 metres apart, the Finca and the Casita approximately 10 metres, and the distance from the Casa to the Casita is also approximately 30 metres. The property is ideal for groups or families with children and grandparents, as everyone can enjoy their own space.

Das Anwesen liegt auf einem großen, schön eingewachsenen Grundstück mit Bäumen und mediterranen Pflanzen. Von den Terrassen der Ferienhäuser und vom Poolbereich hat man einen traumhaften Landschaftsblick. Alle Ferienhäuser verfügen über private Terrassen mit Liegen, Schirm und Tisch. An der großen Finca Mallorca gibt es eine großzügige Terrasse mit einem Esstisch für 10 Personen sowie einen überdachten Sitzplatz und einen gemauerten BBQ.

Pricelist

The minimum stay is one week; individual extra days are possible.
Linen changes and cleaning once a week are included in the price.
The finca can accommodate up to 8 adults and 4 children in total.

A security deposit of €500 is payable on arrival; this will be refunded on departure.

All prices exclude the "Ecotasa" (eco tax), which will apply from 1 July 2016. This is 2,20 € (2,00 € + 10% VAT) per person from 16 years per night.
