Finca Portico is located in picturesque Pòrtol, a small village where you can still experience authentic Mallorca. The lively island metropolis of Palma is only about 20 minutes away. The village is known above all for its rich pottery tradition, which dates back to the 13th century. The village is just a short walk away and offers excellent bars, restaurants and shops. You can enjoy the best of both worlds around the market square: Seclusion and vibrant local culture. In Pòrtol there are 5 bars/restaurants, a butcher, a bakery, a supermarket and a bank. A well-stocked supermarket is only approx. 1.5 km from the finca. Despite its rural location, Pòrtol offers good connections to modern amenities such as the nearby Festival Park Marratxí with its outlet stores, restaurants and leisure facilities. Cyclists will find a well-developed network of paths. Several golf courses and the island's most beautiful beaches are within easy reach by car. Pòrtol is ideal for visitors looking for authentic Mallorcan village life, traditional crafts and a tranquil atmosphere away from the tourist hotspots, while still enjoying the benefits of being close to the capital Palma.

Facilities

Finca Portico is a relaxing retreat in charming hacienda style, perfect for a group or family holiday. The property offers plenty of space to be together with the whole family or friends, but also many retreats to enjoy the unique flair of this extraordinary place undisturbed.

The house has 3 floors and offers 6 spacious and very comfortable bedrooms. Four of them have their own en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms each have their own bathroom. Highlights include a bedroom with a quiet courtyard and another with panoramic sea and mountain views. The six bathrooms are equipped to a high standard, two have premium showers that offer a spa-like experience.

There are two living rooms on the ground floor, one of which has an open fireplace. The spacious kitchen is ideal for large groups and is equipped with two fridges, a freezer and two dishwashers. The large dining room is right next door.

The house is available all year round and is heated in winter with a wood pellet stove in the main room, a large open fireplace in the living room and a wood-burning stove in the kitchen. The bedrooms have either air conditioning with heating or portable gas or electric heating.

Finca Portico is a large property consisting of the main house offered here and two outbuildings in a separate part of the property. The owner and staff live on site in completely separate buildings with separate entrances and driveways.

Events, such as weddings, must be registered and are only possible by prior arrangement with the owner.

Exterior

Finca Portico offers a spacious garden with quiet and very private areas and beautiful terraces to spend time together with family or friends. Guests have four dining areas at their disposal as well as a raised roof terrace with views of the mountains and an outdoor kitchen with a wood-burning oven and gas barbecue.

The large pool is surrounded by a sun terrace equipped with sun loungers for up to 12 guests. The centre of the property is an inner courtyard with palm trees and native flora. It is wonderful to stroll through the extensive gardens or relax in one of the shaded reading and dining areas dotted around the property.

Minimum stay is five days, individual extra days are possible
The final cleaning is charged once at € 300.00
A deposit of € 1,000.00 is payable by credit card before arrival, which will be released within 5 working days after departure if no defects are found during the inspection/final cleaning. The tenant is liable for any damage exceeding the amount of the deposit.

All prices exclude the "Ecotasa" (eco tax), which will apply from 1 July 2016. This is 2,20 € (2,00 € + 10% VAT) per person from 16 years per night.
